Helicopter Crashes In Port Klang, Injures 2

Kuala Lumpur: A pilot and a co-pilot suffered minor injuries after a small helicopter crashed in the open area of Port Klang this morning. The incident took place around 10 am at Westport, Pulau Indah of Port Klang.

According to authorities, R66 Turbine helicopter, which was carrying pilots, landed at Port Klang after it crashed. 

Both the pilots, who suffered minor injuries during the incident, have been referred to the nearby hospital.

Earlier, last year in November, two helicopters crashed after collided in Taman Melawati in Kuala Lumpur, behind a Tamil school, killing two people and injured two others.

Former Malaysia Airlines Bhd (MAS) group chief executive officer Datuk Ahmad Jauhari Yahya was among them who had suffered injuries during the incident.
