Kuala Lumpur: A light aircraft had to make an emergency landing on Plus highway near Sedenak, Johor, this morning. Thankfully so, the Beechcraft Model 35 Bonanza was able to make a safe landing, the aviation body said. The aviation body’s air traffic control tower in Johor received a call at around 10.40am from the aircraft pilot after the plane developed a technical snag, Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) CEO Captain Chester Voo said.
The private aircraft, operated by Premier Air Singapore, was en route from Senai to Melaka. The two Singaporean pilots flying the plane are safe at the moment and are reportedly in a “stable condition”.
After the landing, the aircraft was moved to the emergency lane of the highway.
