Jakarta: An Indonesian passenger plane, carrying 55 members, has been missing minutes after taking off from capital Jakarta. According to reports, Sriwijaya Air plane lost control on Saturday en route to Pontianak in West Kalimantan province.
The company said in a statement that it is still gathering the information and trying to find the location of the plane, where it had gone missing.Â

According to reports, The aircraft is a 27-year-old Boeing 737-500, according to registration details included in the tracking data.
