Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin today led the nation in extending Malaysia’s support to the people residing in Gaza. “On behalf of the people of Malaysia, I expressed my condolences and sadness over the loss of lives and injuries inflicted on Palestinians by the Israeli regime’s vicious attacks,” PM Muhyiddin Yassin posted on his Facebook page.
Muhyiddin Yassin had earlier spoken to Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh. In his phone call, the Prime Minister expressed Malaysia’s solidarity with Hamas amid the conflict. Muhyiddin Yassin said that Ismail expressed utmost appreciation to Malaysians for their support.
