Kuala Lumpur: PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has arrived in Istana Kinta for an audience with Perak Sultan Nazrin Shah to discuss the current state political situation. He arrived at the palace in a grey Mercedes-Benz sedan at 10.50 am for his appearance before the Ruler scheduled at 11 am.
Earlier, he asked for an audience with him, which he denied. The three assemblymen who were summoned by the Sultan were no-show at the palace. They had been instructed to cancel their meeting at the palace during the Perak Menteri Besar crisis.
Later, they sent a public apology, for not presenting themselves in front of him at the palace. Meanwhile, they claim PAS did not get an official to summon.
However, the agenda of today’s meeting is to present his party’s thoughts over the current, unstable political situation.
