At least two houses were destroyed after a massive landslide at a hillslope at Batu in Sabah. According to reports, the incident occurred on Tuesday, early morning.
Authorities confirmed that two houses had collapsed at the hill area but no casualties were reported.
District Fire and Rescue chief Mohd Juhainin Ruslan said that 10 personnel were dispatched to the scene after being alarmed about the mishap at about 7 am.
Authorities said that rescue operation started hours after receiving calls regarding the incident, which happened at a height of 150 metres.
Fire and Rescue said that 10 fire and rescue personnel were deployed as a rescue operation at the spot.
