Social media platforms– Instagram and Facebook and messaging app WhatsApp, have gone down in major outages today across the world. Facebook has not said anything on the matter. People are talking about the down on Twitter. According to DownDetector, the issues started at around 16:44 BST, and are affecting users globally.
