The famous picture of a Siberian or Amur breed of tiger of Russia’s far east has bagged the photographer Sergey Gorshkov the title of Wildlife Photographer Of The Year.
The camera was set in the forest to capture the raw actions of the animals when near.
The tigress is seen hugging an ancient Manchurian fir tree and rubbing itself against it to leave behind her scent to mark her territory in the Leopard National Park.
It took Sergey, a Russian Photographer 11 months to capture the award winning picture.
