Kuala Lumpur: Prince of Brunei Abdul Azim died due to multiple organ failure, revealed his younger brother Prince Mateen in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
According to Prince Mateen, his 38-year-old brother died of multiple organ failure, after being diagnosed with systemic vasculitis earlier this year.
Putting an end to the rumours of Prince’s death, he also added that Azim was battling with bipolar disorder at the same time.
Prince Abdul Azim, who was son of Sultan of Brunei, had many Hollywood and rich friends, including Michael Jackson, Naomi Campbell, Joan Collins, Pamela Anderson, Mariah Carey and Elizabeth Hurley, many more.
The Prince, who was also fourth in line to Brunei’s throne, died at Jerudong Park Medical Centre in Jerudong, and the news of his death was announced by the Royal Palace on 24 October.
The young prince Mateen, in a very heartfelt letter to his brother, also revealed that he was “eternally grateful” for spending so many years of childhood with his elder brother.
