Trump Concedes Defeat, Pledges Orderly Transition Of Power

Washington: Finally! US President Donald Trump has conceded his defeat and pledged the orderly transition of power on Thursday. The statement comes minutes after US congress certified Joe Biden’s election victory.

Conceding his defeat against Joe Biden after a huge clash between his supporters and police officers, Trump announced in a statement that it’s the end of his “greatest” first term in presidential history.

“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th,” Trump said.

Hinting at a potential 2024 run for the US Presidential election, Trump said that this just the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again.

Trump announced his defeat against Biden hours after his violent supporters breached the US Capitol and forced US lawmakers to leave the building. The mob entered the parliament building in order to prevent the announcement of Biden’s victory.

It was an unprecedented scene in US democractic history as a mob first broken down the police barricades outside Capitol Hill and then entered inside the parliament building, rampaging through offices, taking selfies, chanting USA.. USA…while wearing Trump named T-shirts, waving US flags, taking selfies.

Meanwhile, Washington DC Mayor has imposed curfew in the city and put Capitol Hill under lockdown until Biden’s oath ceremony that would take place on 20 January.
