Washington: Joe Biden’s camp has slammed US President Donald Trump’s claim of victory despite announcing the final result. Joe Biden’s Campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon has said that it has a legal team if Trump moves to the Supreme Court in bid to stop the counting.
“The president’s statement tonight about trying to shut down the counting of duly cast ballots was outrageous, unprecedented, and incorrect,” she said in a statement.
She added that Trump or Biden will not decide the result of this election, American people will decide the outcome of this election.
Campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon said in a statement, “It was outrageous because it is a naked effort to take away the democratic rights of American citizens.”
This comes hours after Donald Trump claimed his victory despite counting millions of votes in many states. Trump, who doesn’t believe in the mail voting system, said that he would go to US Supreme Court to stop the counting.
