Kuala Lumpur: Footage of Joe Biden comforting a school shooting victim’s son is being widely shared all over the internet.
In the clip, the presidential front-runner is comforting Corey Hixon, the son of Chris Hixon, who was one of the 17 victims killed at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in 2008. Chris Hixon died, while he was trying to disarm a gunman.
The video shows Biden meeting with Hixon’s family members at Chris Hixon’s memorial in 2018, where he told his family that God loves them. Biden can be seen hugging a kid, while he introduces himself as Chris’ son.
Democratic nominee for upcoming elections also asks the kid how he is doing before he kisses on his forehead and thanked him for hugging.
The kid shakes his head during the devastating time.
Biden said,”You’ll be okay,”. “We’re going to be okay. We’re going to be okay, I promise.”

The video was shared by former White House photojournalist, Arun Chaudhary, at a time when the US election campaign is at its peak. As of now, the video has been shared more than 22 thousand times on Twitter.
