Lebanon’s Hezbollah today fired more than 10 rockets at Israel’s disputed Shebaa Farms district. The Israeli forces also retaliated with similar strikes.
The attack for Hezbollah on Israel is first since 2019.
Hezbollah said that the air strikes were “in response to the Israeli air raids” that hit south Lebanon on Thursday.
“The Islamic Resistance shelled open territory near positions of Israeli occupation forces in the Shebaa Farms with dozens of rockets,” it said.
The locals heard several explosions.
Smoke clouds were seen all over the city of Shebaa Farms.
The Israeli military, in retaliation, said it was targeting the Hezbollah launch pads.
