At least three people were severely injured, and several buildings were damaged after a bomb exploded in a downtown US’ Nashville on Christmas morning. Police said that explosion, that was linked to a parked vehicle in the US city of Nashville, was a “deliberate bomb”. The incident that took place in early hours of Christmas dawn, sent many buildings shattered and debris through the air. When people woke up early in the morning they saw a huge smoke and flames billowing across the city’s skyline.
Police, that is investigating the matter, released a suspect old-white camper van picture from the incident. Authorities said that a policeman was also severely injured. Police spokesperson Don Aron told reporters, “As of now, we can say that this was done deliberately”.
A team of investigators and FBI from Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms Bureau are present at the scene. However, the exact cause of the blast has not been known yet. At a press conference in a hurry, police spokesman Don Aaron said he received complaints about the sound of a gunshot at around six in the morning.
