Pakistan: Massive Bomb Blast Killed 7 Students And 80 Injured At Madrasa In Peshawar

Islamabad: At least seven students killed and 80 others severely injured in a bomb blast at a Madarsa in northwestern Pakistan’s Peshawar city. According to authorities, the incident took place in Dir Colony on Tuesday morning during the morning Quran class.

The local police said that an unknown person planted the explosive in a plastic bag, which contained up to 13lb of explosives.

The wounded people have been admitted to Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar. Around 50 children were present inside the seminary when the bomb went off.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan has sent his condolences and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

He assured the nation that he will ensure the terrorists responsible for this cowardly barbaric attack are brought to justice.
