UAE Minister Accused Of Sexual Assault By Employee

London: A UK-based female employee has accused that she was sexually assaulted by a UAE Minister of Tolerance in a literary festival. According to the victim, she was assaulted by Abu Dhabi’s ruling family member Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan in a Hay Festival in a remote island villa in February this year.

Speaking to Sunday Times, the woman, Caitlin McNamara, claimed, “We got in a gold lift where he pushed me against the wall and began rubbing my breasts in a weird way like windscreen wipers.”

The victim, who was working with UAE minister, also said that soon after the incident, she had informed the embassy and filed a police complaint against the minister

Hay Festival also took a stand against the incident and said that it will never be visiting Abu Dhabi while he remains in position. Condemning the incident, UK’s one of the leading art and literary bodies said in a statement that such behaviour, which is a mockery of his ministry, will not be tolerated.

Meanwhile, minister Sheikh Nahyan has denied all the allegations against him levelled by a female employee.
