Trump Trumped, White House For-Biden

Kuala Lumpur: Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. , better known as Joe Biden is all set to become 46th President of United States after he crossed the magic number of 270 electoral votes for the race of White House by defeating the incumbent Republican President Donald Trump.

According to reports, Joe Biden, Democratic Candidate of US Presidential elecions 2020, has secured most of the battleground states, including Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, New Hampshire, and Wisconsin.

According to CNN, Biden now has a total of 273 electoral votes while Trump has claimed only 214 votes.

Kamala Harris will become the Vice President of United States, taking over the charge from Mike Pence. She will be first Asian American and woman Vice President of the country.  

Biden, who was the Vice President under the President of Barack Obama from 2009 to 2017, has said that he and his government will work hard for people who voted against him and for him.  

Earlier, amid the false accusations of fraudulent voting by incumbent President Donald Trump, Biden had said: “We are going to win this race. We are proving again that democracy works. Your vote will be counted”.

Donald Trump, who is not willing to accept the election, has agains falsely claimed that he ha “won this election by a lot”.

Meanwhile, Trump has left the White House and announced the press conference in Philadelphia at 11.30 am.

Philadelphia authorities also said that a remaining around 3,000 ballots should be counted by noon on Saturday.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi said in the statement, “Today marks the dawning of a new day of hope for America. A record-shattering 75 million Americans cast their ballots to elect Joe Biden President of the United States – a historic victory that has handed Democrats a mandate for action.”

Americans have flooded the streets to celebrate President-elect Joe Biden as he crossed the magic number and secured the several battlegrounds.
