The entertainment industry has lost some of the noted celebrities and the absence of these stars has created a void that can never be filled. From Chadwick Boseman, Nikki McKibbin, Irrfan Khan to Stevie Lee, Kobe Bryant and Rishi Kapoor, here are the legends who left us in 2020.
- Chadwick Boseman
Chadwick Boseman, star of ground-breaking superhero movie “Black Panther” died after a private four-year battle with colon cancer on 29 August.
- Nikki McKibbin
The second runner-up from American Idol’s first season, Nikki McKibbin died on 1 November after suffering from aneurysm. Her best-remembered performance was a cover of Alannah Myles’ song “Black Velvet.”
- Irrfan Khan
Legendary actor Irrfan Khan breathed his last on April 29 in Mumbai. The actor had been unwell for a long time and a week before his demise, he was diagnosed with colon infection.
- Stevie Lee
The professional wrestler, who also featured in “Jackass 3D” Stevie Lee died on 11 September at the age of 54. He was known as Munchkin in 2013’s “Oz the Great and Powerful”.
- Kobe Bryant
Basketball legend Kobe Bryant died on 26 January after his helicopter crashed and burst into flames in foggy conditions.
- Rishi Kapoor
Ace Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away in Mumbai, India, at the age of 67 on April 30 following a two-year-long battle with leukemia.
