Kuala Lumpur: Lin Qi, a billionaire Chinese gaming tycoon, was found dead on the Christmas Day. The news, that already sent shockwaves across China, has a shocking a turn of events – it’s now suspected that Mr Qi died due to poisoning.
Mr Qi, the chief of Yoozoo, that has worked in collaboration with Netflix and the team of game of thrones. The police has detained a 39-year-old suspect in the case — a man with the surname Xu who also worked in Lin’s company.
Lin’s company, Yoozoo, was one of the top companies in the mobile gaming industry globally. Yoozoo, that was founded by Lin 2009, was believed to worth about $1 billion ($6.8 billion yuan), according to the Hurun Report global rich list .
