Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today said that the celebration of World Water Day must be appreciated and valued in an effort to ensure that water resources are protected and utilised as best as possible. In a Facebook post, he wished Happy World Water Day 2023.

In a statement, Anwar said, “Our togetherness is important so that efforts to preserve water resources can be carried out comprehensively for the future of the next generations.”
He further revealed that the United Nations has declared March 22 as World Water Day more than three decades ago. This year’s World Water Day celebration is themed ‘Accelerating Change.’
