Malaysia Records 10 Covid-19 Deaths, Tally Rises To 32,075

Malaysia on Thursday recorded a total of 10 new Covid-19 related deaths, taking the fatalities tally to 32,075. According to the Health Ministry, Perak recorded the highest number of cases. Out of 10, one case was categorised as the brought-in-dead case. Meanwhile, Malaysia’s daily Covid-19 cases breached the 19,000-mark on Thursday, bringing the total number of cases to 2,975,422.

Selangor reported two deaths, while Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Penang, Kedah and Kelantan reported one each.

Selangor logged 3,752 cases, followed by Sabah 2,967, Johor (2.829), Kedah (1,941), Kelantan (1,433), Penang (1,262), Negeri Sembilan (997), Kuala Lumpur (953), Pahang (792), Melaka (720), Perak (368), Terengganu (324), Sarawak (225), Putrajaya (181), Perlis (106) and Labuan (106).

Yesterday, a total of 5,712 patients were recovered from Covid, taking the total number of recoveries to 2,835,464.

Meanwhile, a total of 78.8 per cent of the total population of the country have completed their vaccination process, while 80.1 per cent have received at least their first dose.
