Covid-19: Malaysia Records 9 New Deaths In 24 Hours

Malaysia on Tuesday reported nine Covid-related deaths, taking the cumulative toll to 31,818. Terengganu recorded the highest number of fatalities with 21 deaths per one million people. None of the casualties reported yesterday were categorized as brought-in-dead cases. Meanwhile, a total of 3,245 new cases were reported yesterday, taking the cumulative cases to 2,813,934.

Pahang and Melaka reported 10 deaths per one million people. while Perlis, Sabah, and Perak reported four deaths each. Two casualties were recorded in Kuala Lumpur and one in Sarawak. No deaths were reported in Labuan and Putrajaya.

Selangor yesterday recorded the highest daily infections with 613 cases, followed by Johor with 459 cases, Kedah (393), Kelantan (295), Sabah (201), Penang (188), Kuala Lumpur (187), Pahang (166), Negri Sembilan (138), Melaka (127), Perak (83), and Terenggnu (68).
