Covid-19: Malaysia Sees 3,684 New Covid-19 Cases, Selangor Remains Worst Hit

The number of new Covid-19 cases within 24 hours recorded an increase of 3,684 cases, a bit higher than yesterday. This brings the cumulative number of cases in the country to 2,798,917. Selangor, with 935 new Covid cases, remains the worst affected state, followed by Johor (417), Kuala Lumpur (319), Sabah (280), Pahang (210), Kelantan (197), Kedah (183), Penang (179) and Perak (141).

According to the government data, 97.8 per cent or 22,893,234 individuals of the adult population in the country completed the Covid vaccine injection.

Based on data from the Ministry of Health (MOH) through the COVIDNOW website, a total of 99 per cent or 23,175,181 individuals of the adult population have received at least one dose of vaccine.
