People in Malaysia can book their Covid-19 booster dose from MySejahtera application starting on Monday, 21 March 2022. According to ProtectHealth Corporate Sdn Bhd, people can book their slot along with PPV centres to receive a booster jab against Covid-19. Slot for booster dose can be booked from Booking Management System on the MySejahtera application. As of now, more than 16 per cent of people have received booster doses.

The move comes in order to speed up the vaccination program ahead of the endemic phase that will start from April 1. Officials have urged Malaysians, especially elderly people and those who are at high risk, to get booster dose as early as possible.
“Please be informed that the link to book an appointment for vaccinations which was previously only for children vaccination, is now open to all. Make sure your MySejahtera account has been verified to receive this link,” MySejahtera said in a statement.
However, MySejahtera, in Tweet, has said that vaccinations are also available on a walk-in basis. For this, people can check the ProtectHealth website or the PPVs list that offers walk-in services for vaccinations.
Malaysia reopening its borders
After nearly two years of Covid-related closures, Malaysia has finally decided to reopen its international borders from April 1. The move will allow fully vaccinated people to enter Malaysia with a five-day of quarantine period upon arrival.
The government also asked international travellers to carry a Covid-19 RTPCR test two days before departure.
