Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin announced that foreign travellers arriving in Malaysia under various programmes will no longer have to undergo a six-day Covid-19 test from March 3. However, the rule to take a Covid test two days before arriving in Malaysia and upon arrival is still there. The new rule is only for travellers who are entering Malaysia via Vaccinated Travel Lane, Langkawi International Tourism Bubble and One Stop Centre programmes.
