PKR president Anwar Ibrahim will face a four-cornered fight for the Tambun parliamentary seat in the upcoming 15th general election. After the nomination process, Anwar said that he is ready to offer an alternative for economic programmes and policies, further stating that it gives them an added advantage.

Anwar arrived at the nomination centre at Dewan Sri Kledang, Ipoh Industrial Training Institute in Meru at 8.58 am today. In the four-cornered fight, Anwar is facing Barisan Nasional candidateTambun UMNO division chief Aminuddin Md. Hanafiah, Abdul Rahim Tahir of Pejuang and Ahmad Faizal Azumu of Perikatan Nasional.
While Anwar is Pakatan Harapan’s prime minister candidate. The Election Commission has scheduled polling day on November 19, while the early voting is on November 15.
