Heavy Rain Expected In Sabah, Sarawak, Labuan: MetMalaysia

Several cities in Malaysia expect continuous rain, along with thunderstorms and strong winds. In a statement, MetMalaysia said that several areas in Sarawak, including Mukah, Bintulu, Miri and Limbang will experience continuous rain. Meanwhile, heavy rain is also expected in the west coast areas in Sabah like Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran and Kota Belud, interior areas Sipitang, Kuala Penyu and Beaufort, Kudat and Labuan.

Sabah’s west, east coast and Labuan expect the first category strong winds and rough seas from Today till friday, with the wind travelling with the speed of 40-50 kilometres per hour and waves of up to 3.5 metres.

Due to Typhoon Noru, the northern states of Peninsula Malaysia, including Kelantan and Terengganu, can experience thunderstorms with heavy rain and strong winds.
