Malaysia Sees 11 New Covid-Related Deaths, 5 In Sabah

At least 11 people on Sunday died because of Covid-19 in Malaysia, bringing the total number of fatalities to 32,125. According to the government data, out of 11, five cases were categorised as brought-in-dead cases, taking the BID tally to 6,493. Meanwhile, a total of 21,072 new Covid-19 cases were reported yesterday. The country has reported a total of 3,040,235 cases since the pandemic began in March 2020.

Sabah is the worst hit with 5 Covid-related deaths, followed by Johor (4), Kelantan (1), Pahang (1).

Selangor reported the highest cases with 5,350, followed by Sabah at 3,891, Johor (2,419), Kedah (1,841), Penang (1,566), Kelantan (1,208), Pahang (1,099), Kuala Lumpur (1,001), Negeri Sembilan (983), Melaka (429), Perak (444), Terengganu (297), Sarawak (201), Perlis (129), Labuan (109) and Putrajaya (105).

Meanwhile, a total of 5,724 patients recovered from Covid-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,852,437.
