The Ministry of Health (MOH) has recorded more than 3,000 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total number of cases to 2,795,233. Selangor, the worst hit state reported 1,796 new cases, followed by Sarawak (1,339), Kelantan (1,052), Johor (864), Sabah (705), Terengganu (650) and Perak (643). Yesterday, country also reported a total of 27 deaths, bringing the total number of fatalities due to the pandemic to 31,723.

Meanwhile, the number of cured cases recorded on Wednesday was 3,200 cases, bringing the cumulative number of cases to 2,723,599.
