MetMalaysia today revealed that several states can experience rain with thunderstorms on the polling day for the 15th general election. MetMalaysia deputy director-general Lim Ze Hui said that Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and west of Johor are the states which are expected to experience early morning rain on November 19.

While, Kelantan and Terengganu will experience continuous rain throughout the day, but is not expecting unusual rainfall.
In a statement, he said, “For the northern states, the weather is expected to be good in the morning, while thunderstorms are expected to hit nearly all states in the evening. It is just a normal thunderstorm and nothing to worry about.” He further asked the public to refer to the department’s website for the latest weather information.
