Perikatan Nasional Perak chairman Ahmad Faizal Azumu today revealed that the party will field more local candidates in the upcoming 15th general election. He said that the candidates contesting will be from various backgrounds, political experience and professions.

In a statement, Azumu said that Perak PN have common names and not heavy weights, however maybe in Pakatan Harapan there are names they consider heavy weights.
He said that the party is aware that many hopes to become candidates but were disappointed. “But I see in the end we persevere with the desire to help and continue to help the party,” he added.
Azumu said this after a Perak Foodbank health check-up programme today. He also revealed that the list of candidates will be announced next week along with the coalition’s manifesto.
