Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today chaired the first cabinet ministers meeting at Perdana Putra in Putrajaya. The special cabinet meeting of the Unity Government was chaired by Anwar. The meeting started at 10 am and was attended by all cabinet ministers and two deputy prime ministers.

Earlier in a statement, Anwar said that the purpose of this meeting will be to talk about ways the members should manage their respective ministeries.
Anwar said, “The meeting will talk about on how to work together with civil servants, how to make media announcements and how to not waste government funds.” On December 2, Anwar announced the Cabinet ine-up along with the names of the two deputy prime minister.
