UMNO Secretary-General Ahmad Maslan announced that the 2021 UMNO General Assembly is scheduled to take place in March. 14 delegates from each wing of the party will attend the four-day assembly, which will start on March 16. Ahmad Maslan stated that the date was decided in the Supreme Council meeting, which was chaired by UMNO president Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi at Menara Dato Onn. In a statement, he announced that UMNO Women, Youth and Puteri general assemblies will be inaugurated on the first day of the general assembly.
He stated that the UMNO president will deliver his speech on March 18. Earlier, the assembly was supposed to take place on January 13. But it was postponed due to flooding as many UMNO leaders are helping the victims in the area.
