‘Your Info Safe, MySejahtera Belongs To Govt’: Khairy

Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin today reminded that MySejahtera application belongs to the government. He assured that the government has not sold MySejahtera app to any private company and that it is solely handled by the health ministry, with the health minister appointed as the main owner of the application. He further assured public that their information is completely safe and cannot be shared with other government or private agencies.

In a statement, Khairy Jamaluddin  said the government has always been the owner of the data’s in MySejahtera application, only the maintenance of the platform was an issue.
This comes after people raised concerns over the ownership of the MySejahtera app.

Opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim also questioned the platform’s ownership and risk of sharing of data. 

Meanwhile, a recent report by CodeBlue claims that there’s a deal between Entomo Malaysia Sdn Bhd and MySJ Sdn Bhd. It is believed MySJ Sdn Bhd agreed to pay Entomo RM333.6 million for MySejahtera’s intellectual property and software license.
