South Korean band SECRET NUMBER’s member Denise Kim recently announced that she is leaving the band. The singer took to her Instagram to release an official statement of her departure. “Thank you for your patience and for everything. Love always.” she said. The singer has been on a hiatus as her contract with Vine Entertainment had ended that stopped her from performing with the band.

Denise made her official debut as a member of SECRET NUMBER in May 2020 and had since then performed with the band several times. In the official statement, she said that she had made some very memorable and precious memories with her co-members and Lockey -the official fan club- of SECRET NUMBER. The singer couldn’t perform at the band’s recent comeback due to a contract adjustment that stopped her from performing since September 2021.
In the statement, the star posted on her Instagram in both Korean and English announcing her departure, she also apologised to the fans who waited for her to return for a long time. Denise also expressed her gratitude and appreciation towards the fans who have promoted her and supported her throughout her journey. She also said that though she is no longer a member, she will also support all the future endeavours of the band.
The singer also shared a special gift for her fans on Instagram, a series of photos with the band, and the cover of day you were beautiful.
