“I have known him for half my life!” Kate said as she talked about her 24-year-old friendship during an interview with the Guardian. Like friends around the globe, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate couldn’t see each other as they weren’t able to leave their countries due to Covid. Leonardo walked Kate down the aisle during her wedding in 2012.

Leonardo and Kate first met back in the 90s and have worked together in blockbusters like Titanic and Revolutionary Road in 2008.

The 46-year-old actress also recalled working with Leonardo, 47, during the shooting of titanic two decades ago. “It wasn’t pleasant for any of us, but we were all in it together. Though he had way more days off than I ever bl**y did,” she said.

Kate and Leonardo have one of Hollywood’s most legendary and everlasting friendships. Kate has said several times that DiCaprio is like a brother to her.
