A study by Israel’s health ministry has found that a booster shot of Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is effective against Covid’s Omicron variant. The researchers claim that those who received both the jabs of Pfizer do not have neutralizing ability against Omicron, but those who jabbed with booster shots “are in a safe position”. The study was done on 40 people.

The study was carried out by Sheba Medical Center and the Health Ministry’s Central Virology Laboratory, comparing blood samples of those who had received both doses of Pfizer and a booster shot of the same vaccine.
Earlier, German and US researchers have also claimed that a booster shot of Pfizer is key against the Omicron variant of Covid-19.
