Russia Attacks On Europe’s Largest Nuclear Power Plant In Ukraine

A huge fire broke out at Ukraine’s nuclear plant on Friday after Russian troops attacked the unit. The nuclear plant’s spokesman said that incident took place soon after Russia started shelling early morning at Zaporizhia’s nuclear plant—the largest in Europe. Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba called for an immediate stop of shelling at the nuclear site. The fresh strikes against Ukraine started a day after Russia agreed for a humanitarian corridor to flee residents.

IAEA Director-General also appealed for a halt of the use of force and warned of severe danger if reactors hit.
