Agong Meeting With Guan Eng And Mat Sabu Postponed

Kuala Lumpur: Yang di-Pertuan Agong has summoned DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng and Parti Amanah Negara (Amanah) president Mohamad Sabu for seperate audiences.

However, Istana Negara postponed the two meetings due to partial lockdown after the enforcement of the conditional movement control order in Klang Valley.

Guan Eng and Mohamad Sabu, both confirmed to be summoned by Agong on 14 October and 22 October respectively.

In a joint statement, they stated the king’s secretary informed them that the audience had been postponed.

Yesterday, opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim had an audience with Yang di-Pertuan Agong. Where he presented his strong and formidable support to form a new government.

Agong has advised Anwar to follow and respect the legal process as stated in the Federal Constitution.
