Communications and Multimedia Minister Annuar Musa on Monday organised a special prayer session for former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Dr Mahathir is currently undergoing treatment at the National Heart Institute. The prayer session for his health was held at Muhammadi Mosque at Angkasapuri, Kuala Lumpur and a similar session at the Tuan Guru Haji Musa Mosque in Kota Bharu.

The prayer session was held in accordance with the Covid-19 standard operating procedures. All the members were wearing face masks and observing social distancing.
Dr Mahathir Mohamad was readmitted to IJN last week for an elective procedure. While there are concerns over his health, his daughter confirmed that he is in stable condition and is responding positively to the treatment.
