Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim today said he is open to all the remarks and will clarify or answer any question over his daughter Nurul Izzah’s appointment as his senior economic and finance adviser. He said that he wants his daughter to help the government including ensuring a transparent administration and proper award of government tenders.

In a statement, Anwar said, “I take comments positively. I explain that it is different from previous experiences where appointments would usually involve the question of salary and reward. She came to help. That’s all, not to take projects.”
He further questioned the critics and said they never conducted a transparent administration and even handed over contracts and tenders worth millions of ringgit to their family members.
