Barisan Nasional chairman Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today said that the party will support Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim when a vote of confidence will be called on him in Parliament on December 19. He asked the people of Malaysia to accept Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s decision for BN and Pakatan Harapan to form a unity government.

Ahmad Zahid also asked the people to quarreling about the prime ministership. “As such we need to move forward and accept the Agong’s decision and build the nation toward stability and sustainability, “he said.
Zahid revealed that UMNO supreme council have agrred to work together with Anwar to form a stable and unity government respecting Agong’s wishes. He said BN will support him during the vote of confidence and silence those who are trying to oppose him. He further said that some will say that this is a bad move, but this is the democratic process BN adheres to.
