Bung, previously in his debate, claimed that the Pakatan Harapan government had cut funding for the Pan Borneo Highway project. After which several opposition MPs demanded proof. He described them as ‘stupid’ to ask for proof.
Parliament speaker Azhar Harun had asked Bung Muktar to apologise after he received a motion from Noorita Sual, who claimed against Bung’s use of the word ‘stupid.’
Bung not only apologised but also retracted his remark. He explained that he was interrupted by someone during his speech. “But out of respect, I would like to retract my remark and apologise to the House,” he said.
