Kuala Lumpur: Mohamad said that he does not have to promise his loyalty to an opposition leader, pointing towards Anwar Ibrahim. Adding that just because he is the opposition leader, MPs are not under his control and that they can do whatever they want to. Adding that they are not under him and he cannot control them.
In a joint press conference with Umno veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah, he said that he was only supporting the opposition because he couldn’t side with the government.
Further pointing out that he joined the party to remove the kleptocratic government into a proper government. However, the kleptocratic government has managed to oust the government and rule over the nation.
He pointed out that there are chances that the Perikatan Nasional government can fall after the final vote over the Budget 2021.
