Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin said today that the cabinet will discuss the motion to dismantle the Emergency Ordinances (EO) tomorrow, before it is brought to Parliament next September.
The matter was communicated by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin in a media statement on Tuesday.

The statement said that with the end of the Proclamation of Emergency on 1 August 2021, based on the provisions of the Federal Constitution, the repeal of the Emergency Ordinances by His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong will no longer arise.
“Therefore, in accordance with the views of Agong and the provisions of Article 150 (3) of the Federal Constitution, a motion to discuss and further dismantle the emergency ordinances can be brought in Parliament scheduled to take place in September 2021,” PM said in statement.
