GE15: Police Confirms Three Death Of Voters At Polling Centre

The Royal Malaysia Police confirmed that three deaths of voters were reported today while they were waiting for their turn to vote in the 15th general election. Inspector-General of Police Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said that two of them were in Johor and one in Kelantan, and all were having health problems.

In a press conference, Abdullah Sani said, “These incidents are quite upsetting because these voters have health problems and died while queuing to vote.”

He said that the two voters who died in Johor were senior citizens aged 85. While the one in Kelantan died suddenly before voting and was pronounced dead by Health Ministry’s personnel on the scene.
