Let Me Handle Malayan Tigers squad: Tunku Ismail

Johor Crown Prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has urged that allow him to join the Malayan Tigers squad as the president. The former President of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) said that he will help in improving the national team performance. “To the FAM President, allow me to manage the national team. I will provide the best training facilities and coaches”, he wrote in his Instagram story.


The owner of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim said that let him join as the president of the Malayan Tigers squad so he can help in improving the team’s performance. “I do not promise immediate success but I guarantee the improvement of the national squad, ”he further wrote.

Johor Crown Prince also responded critically to the line-up of JDT players who were seen to have failed to show their best performance with the Malayan Tigers.

Commenting on team’s performance, he said that after 17 trophies, JDT players play every match as if they have never won anything. According to him team needs a discipline and focus for better performance.

“You want to know what was the first thing I did at JDT? I control all access in the team. From the media, journalists, companies and also players in the use of social media so that they will be more focused on their work, “he stated.
