This comes after Anwar Ibrahim filed a defamation suit against him at the Kuala Lumpur High Court. In his defence, Muhyiddin said that his speech was to support the PN candidates contesting for the Padang Serai parliamentary seat.
He further said that Pakatan Harapan chairman should not be offended by his criticism or questions raised against him in his speech. “The plaintiff should openly and wholeheartedly answer the questions raised and deny any allegations that he claims are false,” Muhyiddin said.
