Guan Eng, Mat Sabu Ask PH To Reset Opposition

Kuala Lumpur: DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng and Amanah president Mohamad Sabu said the opposition needed a reset as it failed to stop Budget 2021 from being passed in parliament.

In a joint press conference, Lim Guan Eng and Mat Sabu asked the opposition to stop focusing on Perikatan Nasional, who never fails to seize an opportunity, and asked Pakatan Harapan to prioritise the major issues at hand.

He accused the backbenchers of using PH alliance for their benefit, while they are still supporting PN to gain the most profit.

Earlier, the 2021 Budget proposed by Perikatan Nasional’s government passed the third and final vote in parliament with a division vote.

He pointed out that a total of 111 members in the parliament voted in favour of the supply bill and 108 members voted against it, which means that backbenchers who claimed to support to Anwar did not support PH.

However, PH has pledged to back Anwar for Prime Minister post, while he claims to have a strong and formidable majority support of MPs.
