RoS Rejects Party Registration of MUDA and Pejuang

Kuala Lumpur: The Department of Registration of Societies Malaysia (RoS) has rejected the application of the Malaysian United Democratic Alliance (MUDA).

Confirming the matter with one of the MUDA founders, Mutalib Uthman has said that notification of the rejection of MUDA registration was conveyed via an email on Wednesday.

The party has 13 co-founders, including Muar Member of Parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman.

Syed Saddiq, who is also the former United Fleet Chief, was reportedly registered with his new party with the Registration of Societies Department (RoS) on September 17.

Party has claimed that RoS rejected its registration without giving any reason.

Ros also rejected Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s Parti Pejuang Tanah Air (Pejuang) registration.
Pejuang said that the party will raise this matter to the Home Ministry.
